Workshops "Rhythms, Collective Composition, Improvisation"
Workshops led by Yann Joussein In partnership with the Malakoff Conservatory and the EDIM 4 sessions, 12 hours of workshops These 4 workshops, open to students aged 15 and over (minimum required level: second cycle) and dedicated to experimenting with possibilities in the field of amplified music, focused on preparing and creating an instrumental techno piece played and integrated during the creation of Tribalism on April 13, 2018, at Le Générateur. Attendance at all 4 workshops and the final concert was mandatory. Two groups, Stex 1 and Broken Cash Machine, invited to perform as part of the Coax Night, are musical formations of these workshop participants.

Number of participants: 10 (6 students from the EDIM and 4 students from the Malakoff Conservatory).
Masterclass with Olivia Scemama
In partnership with the Malakoff Conservatory and the EDIM 1 session, 4 hours of workshop This masterclass was intended for instrumentalists with a minimum level of autonomy in playing their instrument. It addressed rhythms and orality with an alternation between listening phases, ensemble playing, and discussions around the following issues: interpretation, polyrhythms, accent shifts, odd meters in various contexts (traditional music, metal, jazz, etc.). Date: April 1, 2018, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Location: EDIM - School of Contemporary Music in Cachan Number of participants: 7 EDIM students.
